The DISCO API provides direct communication between DISCO Ediscovery and your organization’s business intelligence solution, making it easier to see the big picture and take action on data from across your organization. With access to detailed information, you may estimate an invoice, evaluate discrepancies in your organization’s data usage, or gain insight into data usage against a subscription cap or monthly budget*. For clients who run their operational analysis by aggregating data from different sources, this read-only API will enable simplified, on-demand access to DISCO Ediscovery data.
*While DISCO organization metrics show real-time data usage across an organization, invoices may vary based on the terms of the billing agreement. Users can contact their sales representative for more detailed information.
Organization admins can access the feature from the Settings page in Organization Manager.
To integrate with the DISCO API, you must first set up your API key by clicking “Enable API access” for your organization and following the authorization steps.
- Add or remove IPv4 CIDR formatted trusted sources which serve as the specific IP addresses permitted to access the API
- Manage authorized users
- Generate an API key to grant access to the API for designated users
For authorized users needing to generate an API key, they simply need to click “Manage account” under their user profile in the top right hand corner of the header where they will see the option to create a token.
Once the API key is available, the authorized users can now access DISCO data via a command line interface. Users must submit their API Key with each request.
