How are time zones handled?

DISCO normalizes the time zones on all documents to the time zone you select at the beginning of the database. Normalization means that all document dates and times will be shown in a single time zone (e.g., Central Standard Time) in DISCO, to simplify chronological searching and sorting. (This does not change the actual date and time metadata on documents -- only how the metadata are displayed in DISCO.)

Specify your desired time zone when you submit the New Data Form at the beginning of the database.
