Answer: Thanks again for speaking with me yesterday. I was writing to follow up on the social security number search, as I promised. I've spoken with our operations group, and have some information on it.
If the number is known, there are a couple of ways to do it. You can search for the number either using spaces or dashes, such as "444-44-4444" or "444 44 4444". As for generic searches of social security numbers, there is only one way we have just now, but both look for letters or words (some examples are): "SS#" or "SSN" or "Social Security". An automated method to search for otherwise unknown social security numbers (as well as other personal identifying information) is actually in our production queue (set for release before mid-year), but it is not yet available.
If you need anything else, feel free to call or email me. Our support desk (as well as DISCO created help materials and videos) can also be accessed using the question mark in the upper right corner of your matter.
