Question:

We are converting a client from Relativity to DISCO. Is there any language you can send mean to show DISCO can handle data files that were produced/created in Relativity?

Answer:

We can certainly assist and make the migration smooth.

Our experience with migrating from Relativity is that each case is slightly different. Most vendors will have a customized installation of Relativity and thus a unique infrastructure.

Re-creating Relativity Work Product

Relativity folders are based on the file structure of the collected data. This we do not do in DISCO.

Relativity saved searches are similar to DISCO folders. To migrate these saved searches, one would need to run a search or pull up the documents in Relativity that are within the saved search and identify them so that we can ingest them into DISCO with said identifier, search on that field, and then mass folder the documents into a DISCO folder.

In Disco we need a list of the document identifier (BEGDOC) of the documents for each search. If they are searches they consistently want to run on data as its ingested we would need the search syntax to create that saved search or review stage in DISCO.
