Batch print enhancements
- Printing Bates-stamped versions: Prior to this release, batch print generated the Bates-stamped version from a combination of the image currently shown in the viewer and the settings used at the time of production. With this release, batch print now uses the produced image stored in the production view.
- Black and white formatting color correction: Produced views now accurately reflect when a document was produced in black and white (for all documents produced in black and white after October 21, 2024). With this update, batch print outputs will now use the correct coloring for these documents.
- Printing the most recently produced version: New batch printing functionality that enables users to select the most recently produced version of a document when duplicate Bates prefixes are detected, allowing for greater flexibility in batch print outputs.
Additional Improvements:
- Status page: Our new status page keeps you informed in real time about the operational status of DISCO products. It provides updates on any service interruptions or maintenance, with the option to subscribe for direct email or SMS notifications.
- Ediscovery ID: A simplified, unique code that represents an Ediscovery review database. As a best practice, Ediscovery IDs should be leveraged throughout communication methods with DISCO to ensure accuracy and alignment and should be provided when submitting a request through the Ediscovery Support Center.
- Imaging improvements: Improvements for new ingests, adding enhanced support for multiple file types such as SVG and WEBP files.
- Optional high-speed uploader update (v5.0.0): Optional security improvement update, which will impact users with Anywhere mode enabled. For those who use Anywhere mode, or notice sudden slowness following this update, please contact our Support team (https://csdisco.com/contact-us) to re-enable Anywhere mode.
