Mass actions help you to gather, organize, categorize, and report on document sets en masse. The following actions can be taken using mass actions:
- Batch printing
- Adding to exhibit set(s)
- Exporting a document list
- Vaulting documents (this feature is in crawl stage)
- Deleting documents (this feature is in crawl stage)
The icons for mass action icons will appear grayed out until there is an active search or documents are selected from the document list.
Once a search is run or documents are selected, the mass action icons will be active and available to select.
Please note that the Add to exhibit set action is limited to 1,000 documents or fewer at a time. If your search returns more documents than this, this action will be grayed out until the search is refined or you check 1,000 or fewer documents.
By default, DISCO will mass action all documents in your search results. Next to the mass actions, you'll see All Results. But you can use the checkboxes in the document list to limit your results or select documents when you are not in an active search. When you do this, you'll see the number of selected documents to the left of the mass action buttons.
You can unselect documents by clicking the checkbox again or by selecting Uncheck all at the top of the document list.
