Redact one or more entire pages
- In the left panel, expand Actions.
- Click Add Redaction.
- Click Redact entire pages.
- Select the color of the block that will cover the page: black or white.
- Select or type the redaction reason in the Reason field.
- Type the page(s) that should be redacted in the Pages field.
- Click the blue Add Redaction button.
- Click the blue Save button to the left.
Redact part of a page
- In the left panel, expand Actions.
- Click Add Redaction.
- Drag and click on top of the document to create a redaction box.
- Select the color of the box: black or white.
- Select or type the redaction reason in the Reason field.
- Use your mouse to resize and/or move the redaction box.
- Click the blue Save button to the left.
Redact metadata
- In the left panel, expand Actions.
- Click Add Redaction.
- The Redact metadata panel will appear below the document. You can redact a whole field or specific text:
- To redact an entire field, click the name of the field to the left.
- To redact particular text, select the text or use your mouse to highlight the text.
- Select the redaction box menu and click the redaction reason.
- Click the blue Save button to the left.
Edit or delete a redaction
To edit or delete a redaction box covering all of a page, part of a page, or a page’s metadata, follow these steps:
- In the Actions section, click Edit Redactions.
- Select the box to change the color or redaction reason.
- Click the x in the top right corner of the redaction box to delete it.
- Click the blue Save button to the left.
