Multi-value fields from deduplicated load files
This feature is currently in Run.
DISCO Ediscovery now treats deduplicated load files and overlay entries just like native data!
Load file ingest can now parse multi-value fields for Custodian, FileName, OriginalFilePath, and most Dates fields. Simply map a load file field to your chosen field in DISCO, and the values will be extracted for you and shown throughout DISCO just as they would be if you had ingested the native duplicates. The values from your multi-value fields will seamlessly appear in filters and search visualization, and can be redacted in the document viewer.
You can even map multiple fields to the same DISCO field (e.g., “CUSTODIAN” and “DUPE CUSTODIAN” both mapped to Custodian in DISCO). If multiple fields are mapped to a single DISCO field, in an industry first, DISCO will even combine and deduplicate the values in those fields for you.
To use this new capability with existing load file data in a custom field, you can move the values from your custom field to the relevant DISCO field. For details on how to migrate your custom fields in existing matters to our new multi-value enabled fields, check out this Knowledge Base article.
And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to DISCO Support or sign up for DISCO Training.
