Family inclusion mode lets reviewers view documents alongside their family members to understand parent-child relationships. To enable it, click the family inclusion mode button in the search bar:
When enabled, DISCO keeps families together in the results list and marks search hits with a dot:
Search hits vs. included family members
Mass actions apply to the entire results set including family members. However, search filters and search visualization only reflect search hits, not documents added via family inclusion.

Navigating families
Each family has a corner indicator that, on hover, displays the family date, document count, and number of search hits. Selecting the family checkbox selects all documents in that family.
