Overview
The Settings page allows Organization Admins to configure organization-level defaults, branding, billing information, security policies, and API access. These settings apply across your organization and help standardize configuration for new databases and users.
Organization Logo
You can upload a logo to customize your organization’s branding within DISCO. The logo appears in the top navigation header.
For best results:
- Use a graphical logo rather than text-only images.
- Leave adequate spacing around the icon.
- Upload a square image (at least 152px × 152px).
- Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, or PNG.
- Maximum file size: 2MB.
Once uploaded, the organization logo will display in the organization menu throughout the product.
Defaults for New Review Databases
These settings automatically populate when users create a new review database within your organization. Users may override these defaults during database creation.
-
Default Time Zone : Select a default time zone which can be used for all matters in your organization. You can still override the default timezone at the time of matter/review database creation.
-
Default Billing Information
Organization Admins can configure billing contact information that will be used as the default for new review databases. Defining billing information at the organization level streamlines database setup and reduces manual entry during matter creation- You may add multiple billing contacts if needed and mark any one of them as "Primary Contact".
- You can still override the default contact at the time of matter/review database creation.
Security
The Security section allows you to enforce password policies for users within your organization.
-
Password Rotation : You can require users to update their passwords after a configured number of days. Enabling password rotation strengthens account security and helps maintain compliance with internal security policies.
- Applies only to users within your organization.
- Does not apply to Single Sign-On (SSO) users.
Enabling password rotation will cause your users to receive periodic emails from DISCO and possibly encounter error messages when logging in with an expired password.
To prepare your team, we recommend alerting them before you enable the password rotation. To make this easy, we've created an email template you can use:
Hi team,
We are updating the password security settings in the DISCO application. From now on, you will be prompted to change your password at regular intervals. When your password is due to be changed, you'll receive an email from DISCO with a link that you can use to reset your password.
Thank you for your cooperation!
API Access
The API Access setting controls whether authorized users can programmatically access your organization’s data. Read more about DISCO APIs
