DISCO's quality control feature lets you validate review accuracy by sampling documents and tracking overturns.
Setting up a QC sample
In the main menu, click Quality Control. The QC Samples page lists existing samples with completion and accuracy percentages.
Click Create New to configure a sample by selecting:
- A search query to define the document population
- Which review decisions to QC: tagging, document notes, privilege notes, and/or redactions
- Sample size, defaulting to 95% confidence level
Reviewing the sample
Open the sample to see the document list. Review documents in the random order presented. When a reviewer changes a tagging decision, note, or redaction, the change is recorded as an overturn.
Analyzing results
After reviewing the full sample, view results under Sample Results.
Click Population Estimates to extrapolate your sample QC findings to the entire document corpus.
