Fields in DISCO productions (Legacy) – DISCO

Default DISCO production fields as of September 24, 2019:

Field Name	Definition
Attachment	Begbates numbers of any attachments.
Author	The person who created the file. A file can have one or no author.
Bcc	Blind carbon copy recipients on an email.
Begattach	First Bates number of the first document in an attachment range.
Begbates	First Bates number assign to the document.
Cc	Carbon copy recipients on an email.
Company	Available company information extracted from MS Office and PDF documents.
Conversation date	The date the email conversation started.
Conversation time	The time the email conversation started.
Create date	The date the file was created.
Create time	The time the file was created.
Custodian	Owner of the documents collected.
Date last accessed	The date the file was last accessed.
Date last modified	The date changes were last made to a file.
Date printed	The date the file was last printed.
Date received	The date an email or calendar item was received.
Date sent	The date an email or calendar item was sent.
Dedup hash	Numeric value of a fixed length that uniquely identifies data.
Document type	The content type of file a document came from.
Dup custodian	Owner of duplicative documents collected.
Dup file name	File names of any duplicate documents collected.
Dup path	Path information for any duplicative documents.
Endattach	Last Bates number of the last document in an attachment range.
Endbates	Last Bates number assigned to the document.
Family date	The date of the parent document. For emails this will be date sent and for non-emails it is the date last modified.
Family time	The time of the parent document.
File extension	The file extension of the native file.
File length	A file's size in bytes.
File name	The original name of the native file.
From	The sender of an email.
Native path	Path to native file.
OCR path	Path to extracted text or OCR.
Parent bates	The Begbates of the parent document.
Path	The full file, folder, or directory structure from which the document was collected.
Page count	The number of pages in a document.
Reference ID	Optional field that can be used to uniquely order documents.
Subject	Subject line from an email.
Time last accessed	The time the file was last accessed.
Time last modified	The time changes were last made to a file.
Time printed	The time the file was last printed.
Time received	The time an email or calendar item was received.
Time sent	The time an email or calendar item was sent.
Time zone	The time zone in which all dates and times are presented in the production.
Title	Available title information extracted from MS Office and PDF documents.
To	Recipients from the to line of an email.

Additional DISCO production fields:

Field Name	Definition
All Custodians	The names of each owner of each instance of duplicate documents.
All File Names	The file names of each instance of duplicate documents.
All File Paths	The file paths of each instance of duplicate documents.
Attach Count	The number of attachments for parent files.
Attach List	List of filenames of all attachments, delimited by ";", when field has multiple values.
Calendar Begin Date*	The date that a meeting begins. This field is specific to .ics files, as well as .msg files with a MAPI Message Class property of "Schedule".
Calendar Begin Time*	The time that a meeting begins. This field is specific to .ics files.
Calendar Duration*	The duration of a meeting in hours. This field is specific to .ics files.
Calendar End Date*	The date that a meeting ends. This field is specific to .ics files, as well as .msg files with a MAPI Message Class property of "Schedule".
Calendar End Time*	The time that a meeting ends. This field is specific to .ics files, as well as .msg files with a MAPI Message Class property of "Schedule".
Date Appt End*	The end date and time of a calendar appointment. This field is populated for .msg files with a MAPI Message Class property of "Appointment".
Date Appt Start*	The start date and time of a calendar appointment. This field is populated for .msg files with a MAPI Message Class property of "Appointment".
Delivery Receipt*	Delivery receipt request notification for email messages.
Esubject*	Subject field value extracted from metadata of a native file.
Family range	Bates range of entire document family.
Hash MD5	Document MD5 hash value (used for deduplication or other processing).
Hash SHA1	Document SHA1 hash value.
Header	Internet header information from each email.
Hidden Type	A list of any hidden content types detected in the file, such as comments or revisions.
Importance*	Email flag indicating priority level set for a message.
In Reply to ID	The Internet message ID of the reply email.
Last Author*	Last saved by field value extracted from metadata of a native file.
Message ID	A unique ID for email messages.
Metadata Redacted	A list of metadata fields on which a metadata redaction has been placed for that document.
Object hash	The logical hash used by processing to determine exact duplicates, irrespective of their family relationships.
Privilege Note	The contents of the DISCO Privilege Notes field.
Read Receipt*	Read receipt request notification for email messages.
Record type*	Edoc, Edoc attachment, email, email attachment, hard copy, calendar appt.
Redaction Reasons	The Redaction Reasons applied to a redaction in DISCO.
Revision*	Count of revisions extracted from metadata of native file.
Sensitivity*	Sensitivity field from email messages.
Thread ID	A unique ID for a conversation thread.

Field Name	Definition
DISCO ID	The unique number associated with each record (document) in DISCO.
Document Note	The contents of the DISCO Document Note field.
Tags	All DISCO tags applied to a document.
