When an ingest is complete, DISCO generates up to three reports: a full ingest report, an exception report, and a transferred files report.
If there were no exceptions (errors) associated with the ingest, you will only have the option to download the full ingest report and the transferred files report. The transferred files report describes what documents were uploaded for ingest.
If there is an exception report, any errors generated during your native file ingest will be listed in the exception report.
If you selected I will review the exception report and remediate any exceptions as necessary in your ingest options, any errors are your responsibility to address. You can view these errors by downloading an Ingest Exception Report and following DISCO’s suggested remediation steps as outlined in Remediating ingest exceptions.
If you selected Send exceptions to DISCO Professional Services for review (recommended) in your ingest options, any errors generated during your native file ingest will be sent to DISCO Professional Services to be addressed and remediated. Additional charges will apply.
With this option, once all data has been uploaded and ingested, the DISCO Professional Services team receives the exception report and uses a number of proprietary tools to remediate exceptions. The DISCO Professional Services team will reach out to the user who performed the ingest regarding any questions or updates about the remediation.
