In the past, the only way to get documents into a DISCO review database was to send the files on a physical drive to the DISCO office via mail or FTP. DISCO would process the files and add them to a database that you could then access for review.
DISCO’s native ingest feature allows you to directly upload large sets of documents from your computer or local network to the DISCO cloud. The high-speed uploader transfers files up to 60 times faster than before, allowing you to get started on your document review quickly.
In the event that an ingest encounters files or file types that are not supported, DISCO can either handle these file errors for you for an additional change, or you can choose to address the errors yourself. This preference is set in the wizard during ingest setup.
We have provided several articles and videos to help you through the native ingest process.
