DISCO's Production settings have long allowed users to produce native documents; however, in order to prevent native versions of redacted documents, all ancestors of a redacted document are produced in the production's selected image format.
We've extended this behavior to all documents that are withheld and slipsheeted. This means we now treat family members of redacted documents and family members of withheld and slipsheeted documents the same: all ancestors of a slipsheeted OR redacted document (parents, grandparents, etc) will be produced as images, regardless of native settings on the production. This rule overrides any other settings on the Productions page.
These parent documents are now produced as PDFs and a native file will not be included in the production, therefore keeping the children from being accessible in any way and preventing a possible data leak. There have been no changes to the slipsheet functionality.
